Elizabeth Benedict

Elizabeth Benedict established Elizabeth Home Decor & Design in 2005.  After receiving her BA in Economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder, she spent a decade in the financial services industry working in New York and Hong Kong.  Upon moving to Boston, she switched gears, had four kids, and received a Certificate in Decorative Arts from the New England School of Art & Design.Elizabeth looks at design from a practical vantage point and strongly believes that spaces need to be functional and family-friendly without sacrificing style. Though rooted in a traditional aesthetic, her portfolio is a reflection of the varied tastes of her clients. Common threads include a cohesive color palette throughout, multiple layers of texture and pattern, mixing of old and new pieces of furniture, and fabulous collections of art. Residential interior design services include space planning, furniture design and selection, floor and wall coverings, window treatments, paint and color choices, lighting design, accessories, and artwork purchasing and installation.
