Don’t miss the 20th Annual Newport Flower Show, held this year from June 19th thru the 21st. The show will be held at Rosecliff mansion, and the theme is American Beauty—Timeless Style. This theme was chosen to celebrate the traditions of our uniquely American culture.
Jane Godshalk, the award-winning designer, will be present sharing her knowledge and skilles. Jane has been the designated representative from the United States to the world’s most prestigious design competitions, including Chelsea and WAFA. She also leads the Floral Design program at Longwood Gardens in Delaware.
Peter J. Hatch, Head Gardener at Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, will also be present. Peter has been the steward of these historic ground for almost forty years, and will share the growth of this garden as well as the founder’s vision of American Beauty.
Finally, P. Allen Smith, award-winning designer and gardening and lifestyle expert will share timeless tips for containers with guests.
The front lawn at Rosecliff will be transformed into the White City, in homage to the architects of the 1893 World Exposition and creators of Rosecliff. Be sure to get tickets for the Opening Night Party, as it will be the official launch of the summer season in Newport with a cocktail buffet, live music, and casual dinner.
